In the field of  literature, I focus mainly on literary translation and creative writing.

While at  university, I attended Spanish and English literary translation programmes where we primarily dealt with translating short stories, as well as editing a magazine about upcoming literary translators. For my personal pleasure, I translate poetry by my favourite English Romantic and Spanish contemporary authors.

Within the genre of literary translation, communcating values and enabling cross-cultural communication are the aspects I find essential, since they enhance the multicolured world, the numerous opinions and philosophies accessible to the receptive reader.

Recently, a few ideas have been taking shaping in my mind: a novel, and a photo album with anecdotes – mainly showing the effects on me of my stay in Indonesia. Other projects I am considering are translating specific books and explaining stories that would be illustrated with my photography.

I currently write newspaper articles on cultural issues that I’ve experienced in Asia, for the Hungarian regional daily paper „Kisalföld”.
